Job Summary

Lake Cement Ltd. is seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to support the maintenance and reliability of cement plant equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing maintenance activities, troubleshooting mechanical systems, implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan and execute maintenance activities for plant equipment.
• Monitor and troubleshoot mechanical systems and equipment breakdowns.
• Ensure proper inspection, alignment, and performance of machinery.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Maintain maintenance records and support spare parts planning.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Support shutdown planning and execution of major maintenance activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–2 years of experience in cement plant maintenance.

Required Skills

• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of cement plant equipment, including:
  • Crusher
  • Vertical Roller Mill (VRM)
  • Kiln
  • Ball Mill
  • Packing Plant
• Experience in equipment alignment, lubrication, and maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
• Understanding of ISO management systems and safety standards.
