Role Overview

  • Pipeline Design: Develop and optimize designs for large diameter onshore pipelines.
  • Project Management: Oversee pipeline construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all pipeline operations adhere to local and international regulations.
  • Technical Support: Provide engineering support during the construction and installation phases.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to monitor construction progress and quality.
  • Problem Solving: Address any technical challenges that arise during project execution.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in corrosion analysis.
  • Experience in chemistry

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor level or similar.
  • Materials or Chemistry engineering with emphasis on materials, metallurgy, and chemical reactions such as corrosion.
  • Good knowledge of international Codes, Standards and Regulation related to the inspection discipline (ASME, API, NACE...).
  • Good knowledge of materials, metallurgy, welding, corrosion, failure modes, Non-Destructive Testing, and inspection techniques
  • Good knowledge of computer tools.
  • Good knowledge in Fitness for Service assessment methods

(API RP 579, ASME, DNV...).

  • Proficiency in oral and written English.
  • ERB Registration as a Professional Engineer.
