Project Engineer – Network at TotalEnergies Tanzania

Close coordination with:

• Internally: Projects Manager, SFS team, NOMs, TMs and Finance
• Externally: Contractors, Engineering Consultants, Network dealers, WMA, NEMC, EWURA, CRB and ERB

Main challenges:

• Lack of reliable and specific contractors hence requiring thorough supervision on projects.
• Lack of respect to HSEQ in all aspects of project implementation operations.

Activités

• Administering all HSEQ matters during entire project implementation.
• Assist Projects Manager in Development of Basic & Detailed project Designs and related project CAPEX at different level of project planning.
• Implementation of rehabilitation of existing and new station development projects in coordination with Network Development Manager
• Ensuring effective communication and daily review with the project manager together with various contractor by having defined routines in following up project issues.
• Ensuring Quantity and Qualitative measures on service station facilities during projects are appropriately considered
• Scheduling daily reviews of project deviations from the plans and guiding Projects manager to take corrective action in making sure they are addressed effectively in terms of budgets.
• Auditing the contractors in their general set up such us man power capability, tools and equipments capability, workshop capability, material management capability. Ensure compliance in terms of ICC.
• Develop designs/schematic drawings and projects development cost within networks.
• Implementation of rehabilitation of existing and new station development projects in coordination with Network Development Manager

Profil du candidat

• Bachelor of science degree in Engineering
• At least 3 years of experience in handling engineering duties
• Project Management skills
• Strictly committed to HSEQ rules
• Licensed engineer (Registered with Engineers Registration Board (ERB) is an added advantage
• AutoCAD and Micro-Soft project highly desirable.
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite.
