Senior Mechanical Engineer at Lake Cement Ltd (Nyati Cement)

A senior mechanical engineer (SR. ME) is a leader who manages the research, development, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems and devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Must possess good Leadership and communication skills
• Should be acquainted with cement plant maintenance practices for equipment like Crusher, VRM, Kiln, Cement Ball mill and Packing plant
• Should have experience of maintenance of major assemblies of the equipment like VRM Roller, Classifier shafts, Kiln alignment, Machine alignment, Girth gear and pinion alignment etc
• Should have knowledge of troubleshooting and maintenance of compressors and bag filters
• Should be familiar with troubleshooting & maintenance of belt conveyors, bucket elevators
• Should be familiar with selection of welding electrodes and welding techniques
• Should be well acquainted with lubricant selection and schedule of lubrication
• Should be familiar with selection of bearings and its applications
• Should have knowledge of fits and tolerances
• Should have basic knowledge of engineering metallurgy
• Should have hands-on experience of shutdown/major maintenance planning and execution
• Should be well familiar with preventive maintenance, Predictive maintenance, NDT techniques
• Should be acquainted with all Health, Safety and Environment procedures and legal requirements
• Should have good knowledge of ISO Management system/ERP packages
• Should have exposure to project planning and execution
• Should have good knowledge of spare part planning, cost management
• Candidate must have excellent track record, positive attitude and must have a tendency to learn and adapt

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

• 4-5 years' experience in Cement Industry is mandatory
