Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Finance Officer located in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The Chief Finance Officer will oversee financial management, including the preparation of financial statements, financial reporting, and delineating financial strategies. Tasks involve conducting financial analysis, budgeting, compliance management, and communication with key stakeholders. The CFO will also ensure the company's financial practices align with statutory regulations and promote organizational financial health.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements
• Professional qualifications – Qualified accountant, CPA (T). 3 years post-qualification.
• A minimum relevant experience in Finance with at least 5 years in senior management.
• Thorough understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Practical knowledge of the Insurance Act (2009), regulations and guidelines.
• Strong Analytical Skills and experience in Finance
• Expertise in Financial Reporting and budgeting
• Excellent Communication skills for interaction with stakeholders
• Leadership skills and prior experience in a senior financial management role
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management
