Job Description
Mount Meru Hotel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to oversee all financial operations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong financial acumen, capable of ensuring the hotel's financial health and compliance.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop and manage the hotel's annual budget and financial forecasts.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Provide financial reports and analysis to senior management.
- Conduct financial modeling and feasibility studies.
Financial Operations:
- Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Manage cash flow and banking relationships.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with all local and national financial regulations.
- Prepare and file tax returns and other required reports.
- Coordinate with external auditors.
Team Management:
- Lead and mentor the finance team.
- Develop and implement training programs.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Strategic Support:
- Provide financial guidance and support to senior management.
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making.
- Identify and recommend cost-saving measures.
