Minjingu Mines and Fertilizer Limited ("MMFL") is a cornerstone of Tanzania's agricultural industry, dedicated to enhancing food security through sustainable fertilizer production. As a company incorporated in Tanzania, our primary operations are strategically located 106 kilometers southwest of Arusha, along the Arusha-Dodoma highway in Babati District, Manyara Region, with our Head Office in the vibrant Arusha City. MMFL's core business revolves around the responsible mining of naturally occurring Phosphate Rock of biogenic origin, which we further process into high-quality Blended Fertilizers crucial for boosting agricultural productivity. Finance Manager
We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Finance Manager to lead the Finance and Accounts department in one of our key manufacturing industries within the MMFL Group. This is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring robust financial health, compliance, and strategic financial planning for a company deeply involved in phosphate mining and fertilizer production.
- Qualifications: You must be a fully qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Experience: A minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience is essential, with a significant and demonstrable track record of success within the manufacturing and/or mining sectors. You should possess a comprehensive understanding of financial management, accounting principles, strategic financial planning, and a proven ability to lead a finance team effectively within an industrial group.
Works Chief Accountant
We are also looking for a meticulous and highly skilled Works Chief Accountant to play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects. This position demands a deep understanding of cost control, inventory management, and production efficiency within a heavy industrial context.
- Qualifications: You should hold an ICWA (Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India) qualification.
- Experience: A solid background of at least 10 years in manufacturing industries is required, with a strong preference for experience in costing, material reconcilation, stock controls. production efficiency etc.
