We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our finance team. The Financial Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, be proficient in financial reporting, and have a deep understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis.
Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other relevant accounting standards.
Generate and present financial reports to management, providing insights into the company's financial performance.
General Ledger Management:

Maintain the general ledger by recording and reconciling financial transactions accurately.
Manage and review journal entries, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
Budgeting and Forecasting:

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts in collaboration with other departments.
Monitor budget variances and provide explanations and recommendations for corrective actions.
Financial Analysis:

Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for cost optimization.
Prepare financial reports for internal stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators.
Tax Compliance:

Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns, including income tax, VAT, and other relevant taxes.
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Auditing:

Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Implement audit recommendations and improve internal controls.
Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all financial and accounting regulations, including company policies and procedures.
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
Financial Software and Tools:

Utilize financial software and tools for data entry, reporting, and analysis.
Suggest improvements to financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or ACCA certification is preferred.
Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with tax laws and regulations.
