Location: Dar es Salaam
JOB OVERVIEW
Assemble Insurance is looking for a qualified and experienced individual to fill the position of Underwriting Officer - General Insurance.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Actuarial Science or a related field.
- At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in General Insurance underwriting or a related insurance function.
- Professional qualification in insurance, such as ACII, CII, AII or an equivalent insurance qualification, will be an added advantage.
- Strong understanding of General Insurance principles, underwriting guidelines and risk assessment procedures.
- Ability to evaluate insurance proposals and determine risk acceptability.
- Knowledge of premium rating, policy terms, conditions, exclusions and warranties.
- Good knowledge of insurance regulatory requirements and compliance standards in Tanzania.
