Duties and Responsibilities
- To execute and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for electric and diesel locomotives.
- To support predictive maintenance activities using diagnostic tools and fault history.
- Diagnose and repair faults in electromechanical systems, including; Electric traction systems, Diesel locomotive systems, Auxiliary systems (pumps, compressors, fans, HVAC components, battery/charger systems, lighting, etc.)
- To Inspect all electrical machineries at the quarries and insulation level of conductors in rolling stock, machinery and buildings;
- Conduct functional checks, insulation testing, continuity/continuity checks, ground fault checks (as applicable), and performance verification;
- Provide technical guidance to maintenance technicians on troubleshooting, safe work practices, and best maintenance methods;
