Duties and Responsibilities:

• To monitor language issues, traditions and customs in his work areas.
• To teach various fields of culture to groups of Arts.
• Planning, promoting and coordinating the implementation of art, language, traditions and customs activities.
• Giving advice to film Hosts, developers and exhibitors.
• To give advice on various advertisements so that they consider the values and standard language.
• To revive, promote, preserve, develop and coordinate cultural activities.
• To inspect and register art galleries, Libraries and video stores.

Qualifications and Experience:

Holder of Bachelor Degree in Language studies, Linguistics, BA(Kiswahili) and BA(Kiswahili literature) from a recognized Institution.

2.0 CULTURAL OFFICER GRADE II - ARTS - 1 Post

3.0 ICT OFFICER GRADE II - DEVELOPER - 1 Post

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To develop back end front end connectivity.
• To design, implement and test data base.
• To implement security and access control into data base.
• To ensure software purchase are implemented timely.
• To install, configure and update anti-virus software.
• To alert users on various security, risks, threat, and vulnerabilities.
• To implement security mechanism and controls in computer system.
• To design, install and configure LAN and WAN infrastructure.
• To test network equipment and devices.
• To implement network security guidelines.
• To perform network trouble shooting and repair.
• To develop and test web pages and multimedia content.
• To update web pages and multimedia.
• To implement security for web pages and multimedia content.
• To key in data and upload formatted data to computer server.
• To validate, check, verify dates and times input to and output from information systems.
• To analyze user requirements.
• To perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience:

Holder of Bachelor Degree in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent computer qualifications from recognized institutions.
