Job Description

The role is to foster a proactive Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) culture across Customer Centres in Tanzania and Kenya. This involves ensuring compliance with Epiroc standards, local laws, and global best practices, embedding risk awareness in daily operations, strengthening process discipline, and driving continuous improvement. The ultimate aim is to achieve Epiroc’s Zero Harm ambition while supporting operational excellence.

Your mission:

Implement and monitor SHEQ standards across operations.

Ensure compliance with local regulations and Epiroc global requirements.

Conduct audits (internal, mock, and external preparation).

Drive risk assessments and enforce mitigation measures.

Investigate incidents and close corrective actions.

Track and report KPIs on safety, quality, environment, and compliance.

Promote safety culture through training, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
  • Professional SHEQ certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO Lead Auditor) preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in SHEQ management, preferably in industrial or mining environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
  • Experience conducting audits and managing compliance frameworks.
