We’re Attitude, and we’re coming soon. In 2025, we’re opening our very first hotel outside Mauritius, right here in Matemwe: an adults-only hotel with 74 villas, two restaurants and two bars. It’s a new chapter for us, and we’re putting a lot of heart into making it something special.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Goals for the Entertainment Supervisor:
- Company Culture & Employee Engagement: Maintain and reinforce company culture in daily operations, creating a positive, engaging experience for both employees and customers. Ensure legal compliance.
- Transparent Communication: Foster open, transparent communication with all Family Members to build trust, improve engagement, and enhance teamwork.
- Leadership & People Management: Promote a culture of proximity with employees, create and maintain a great place to work culture, ensuring employees are physically, emotionally and psychologically safe in their work environment.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Foster a culture of transversality by promoting cross-departmental collaboration and communication to achieve common goals.
Operational/Technical Responsibilities:
Program Development and Planning:
- Design and schedule entertainment programs and events tailored to the audience's interests (e.g., resort guests, cruise passengers, theme park visitors).
- Coordinate seasonal or special events, ensuring alignment with brand and audience expectations.
Team Management:
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate a team of entertainers, performers, and support staff.
- Handle recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance reviews.
Production Oversight:
- Oversee rehearsals, performances, and live shows to ensure quality and safety.
- Ensure all technical aspects (sound, lighting, stage setup) are coordinated effectively with production teams.
Customer Engagement:
- Interact with guests to gather feedback and improve entertainment offerings.
- Resolve complaints or issues related to entertainment in a professional manner.
Budget Management:
- Manage the entertainment department’s budget, including procurement of costumes, equipment, and external services.
- Ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining high production value.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all entertainment activities comply with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain records and reports as required by management or regulatory bodies.
Collaboration:
- Coordinate with other departments (marketing, hospitality, operations) to ensure cohesive guest experiences.
- Assist in promoting events through collaboration with the marketing team.
YOUR QUALITIES:
- Bachelor’s degree in Performing Arts, Hospitality Management, Event Management, Recreation, or a related field.
- Certifications in entertainment production, or event planning will be a definite advantage
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the entertainment industry, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Ability to embody and instil Attitude’s DNA and culture within the hotel.
- Strong creative vision to develop engaging entertainment content.
- Understanding of audio/visual equipment and stage production basics.
- Awareness of diverse cultural backgrounds, especially important in international or diverse settings.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, schedules, and priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an enthusiastic and outgoing personality.
- Excellent communication skills: Clear, professional verbal and written skills and fluency in English and Swahili. A third language would be a definite advantage.
- An understanding of the African Market will be a definite advantage.
- Ability to compete in a fast-paced, dynamic and guest centric environment
