Job Description
- Sort clothes, linens, and other washable items by color, fabric, and cleaning requirements.
- Operate washing machines and dryers.
- Identify and treat stains with appropriate chemicals and techniques before washing.
- Fold and iron clothes and linens after they have been dried.
- Keep track of laundry supplies like detergent, bleach, and fabric softener, and report when stock is low.
- Perform routine maintenance on laundry machines and report any issues to the maintenance team.
- Interact with customers, taking and returning laundry, answering questions, and addressing complaints.
- Inspect items for cleanliness, damages, and missing buttons or zippers, and perform minor repairs if necessary.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Keep accurate records of laundry received, processed, and delivered.
- Handle any special laundry requests or services, such as dry cleaning or delicate fabric care.
