Maintenance Manager at Turaco Nungwi Resort

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Maintenance Manager position located at Turaco Nungwi Resort in Nungwi. The Maintenance Manager will oversee the daily operations related to property maintenance, including managing preventive maintenance schedules, supervising maintenance personnel, and ensuring all equipment is functioning efficiently. Responsibilities include coordinating repairs, troubleshooting equipment issues, and maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards. The Maintenance Manager will collaborate with other departments to ensure a high standard of guest satisfaction and seamless facility operations.

Qualifications

• Proven Supervisory Skills with the ability to lead and collaborate with a team
• Strong expertise in Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance procedures
• Experience in Maintenance Management and Maintenance & Repair activities
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in maintenance or a related field are an advantage
• Prior experience in hotel or resort maintenance is preferred
