Villa Interior Stylist at Hostly Tanzania

Are you passionate about making properties look and feel exceptional, inside and out? We’re looking for someone with an excellent eye for detail and style to ensure our villas meet the highest standards of presentation, comfort, and guest readiness.

Tasks

What You'll Do:

• Conduct onsite inspections of villas to ensure they meet visual and functional “guest-ready” standards
• Identify and correct any issues affecting visual appeal or guest experience (both inside and outside the property)
• Work closely with fundis and contractors to address fixes and improvements
• Flag maintenance or aesthetic issues that don't meet our standards
• Suggest design updates (layouts, décor tweaks) aligned with our brand
• Keep a close eye on finishing quality, cleanliness, and functionality
• Maintain and update checklists for styling, equipment, and furnishings
• Support property readiness before guest arrivals and during peak season
• Ideally, assist in coordinating and organizing tasks related to property readiness, though this is not essential.

Requirements

We’re Looking For:

• A strong visual sense you instantly know when something is “off”
• Experience in property management, housekeeping management, or interior styling
• Comfort working onsite and moving between properties frequently
• Ability to direct vendors, negotiate basic works, and manage quality control
• Local knowledge of Zanzibar and Swahili/English fluency is a must

Benefits

Job Type: Full-time, onsite

Pay Rate: TZS 700,000 to 1,200,000
