Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Human Resource Officer based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The Human Resource Officer will perform daily tasks, including creating and implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, and developing job descriptions. Additional responsibilities include supporting recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives, as well as ensuring company compliance with labor laws and regulations. The Human Resource Officer will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive and productive work environment, aligning human resource management with organizational goals.

Qualifications

  • Skills in HR Management and Human Resources (HR) practices
  • Expertise in creating and implementing HR Policies and compliance standards
  • Proficiency in handling Employee Relations to foster a positive and collaborative environment
  • Experience in Job Description Development to define and structure roles effectively
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Tanzanian labor laws and HR regulations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources -MUST
  • Relevant HR certifications or professional memberships (such as CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent) are an advantage
