Naru Zanzibar is looking for an experienced HR Specialist to join our growing team and support our operations across Zanzibar.

We are looking for someone professional, organized, people-focused, and experienced in building strong teams within fast-paced environments. This role will support hiring, onboarding, employee management, HR processes, and overall team operations.

What You’ll Do

• Lead recruitment and hiring processes across departments
• Manage onboarding for new team members
• Support employee relations and day-to-day HR operations
• Help develop and maintain HR policies and processes
• Coordinate contracts, documentation, and staff records
• Support performance management and team accountability

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years HR experience required
• Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, travel, or service industries preferred
• Strong English communication skills
• Experience with recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration
• Based in Zanzibar or willing to relocate
