Job Description
Job Title: Human Resources Supervisor
Department: Human Resources
Reports to: HR Manager
Location: Mkuranga
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Staffing:
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes (job posting, screening, interview arrangement, onboarding).
- Maintain talent pipelines and support hiring initiatives.
Employee Relations & Welfare:
- Support implementation of employee engagement activities.
- Assist in resolving employee relations issues under guidance.
Training & Development:
- Support coordination of training sessions and logistics.
- Maintain accurate training records and evaluate feedback.
Performance Management:
- Supervise and monitor employee performance against set goals, KPIs, and departmental standards.
- Support managers in conducting regular performance evaluations and reviews.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and feedback to employees to enhance productivity and engagement.
- Analyze performance data and prepare reports for management decision-making.
- Identify performance gaps and recommend training, development, or corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with HR to implement performance management systems and ensure policy compliance.
- Promote a culture of accountability, recognition, and continuous improvement.
- Resolve performance-related issues in a fair and timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3 or above years of HR experience preferred.
- Familiarity with labor laws and HR systems.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Fluent in English; other languages (e.g., Swahili/Chinese) are a plus.
