DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•         To undergo an induction course in pedagogical skills for those who had none before. ii.       Carry out lectures
• conduct tutorials, seminars and practical for undergraduate programmes
•      To prepare and present case studies
•      To conduct and publish/disseminate research results
•       To recognize students having difficulties, intervene and provide help and support
•      To participate in consultancies and community services under supervision
•     To attend workshops, conferences and symposium
• and viii.  To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Holder of a Master of Science in any of the following areas: Forestry, Environmental and Natural Resource Economics, Natural Resources Management, Forest Resource Assessment and Management, or Ecosystem Science and Management from a recognised University with at least a GPA of 4.0 over 5.0. In addition, the candidate must have a minimum GPA of 3.8 over 5.0 in the first degree with a minimum of a B+ in the dissertation and be assessed as potentially good academically. In addition, for an unclassified master's degree by thesis/research, one must have a pass grade and published at least two (2) papers in reputable peer reviewed journals. The applicant should have a consistent career progression in his/her relevant area of specialization from Bachelor to Master’s Degree.
