Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in expanding our client base, enhancing service offerings, and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the clearing and forwarding sector. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company targets. Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, potential opportunities, and competitive landscape. Provide insights to inform business decisions.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with internal teams, including operations and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery. Coordinate with external partners such as customs authorities, shipping lines, and transporters.
- Reporting & Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance and report on business development activities. Analyze key performance indicators to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years in business development or sales within the logistics, clearing, and forwarding industry.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Attributes: Self-motivated, results-driven, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
