Job Description
Access Manager role is to be in charge of gaining access specifically for installing fiber boxes in buildings. In essence, the Access Manager is the "gatekeeper" who unlocks the physical expansion of the fiber network in new, ongoing and existing network area.
Key responsibilities:
1. Business Development and Negotiation
- Securing Access Agreements: Your core responsibility is to negotiate and secure permission ("access agreement/ROE") from building owners, landlords, or property management companies to install the company's fiber optic infrastructure.
To personally handle 80 units MDU’s and ensure access is granted.
- Building a Pipeline: You will be responsible for identifying and building a pipeline of potential buildings to target fiber installation. This involves D2D engagements, and networking with property developers and owners.
- Contract Management: Ensure documentation is required for access agreements, ensuring all terms and conditions are met/signed.
2. Relationship Management
- Conflict Resolution: You should handle any concerns or objections from property owners, addressing issues related to aesthetics, disruption during installation, or legal matters.
3. Project Coordination and Logistics
- Site Surveys and Vetting: Be involved in initial site surveys and vetting to assess the feasibility of fiber installation and determine the best approach.
- Internal Coordination: Closely with internal teams, such as construction team, dispatch /addressing, to ensure that once access is granted, the project can move forward without delays. To always communicate the specific requirements and constraints of each building to the technical teams.
4. Strategic Planning and Reporting
- Market Analysis: You need to understand the competitive landscape and identify strategic MDU’s for build.
- Performance Reporting: Track progress, report on the number of new buildings "lit up," and analyzing the success of different access strategies.
