Building & Utilities Manager

The role is responsible for overseeing maintenance in the buildings and utilities area, including planning, scheduling, spare parts, and maintenance programmes. It also ensures that plant utilities, facilities, and workshops operate efficiently and reliably, while providing technical support to production and serving as the main contact for factory technical issues.

What You Will Do

B&U Manager will be responsible for

  • Managing activities of Technical Services, providing coaching to improve performance of the team and ensure the succession of the team.
  • Responsible for the optimum functioning of the plant buildings and utilities, Monitor and analyze production equipment performance to identify areas of improvement and support projects teams.
  • Demonstrate leadership and commitment with respect to Quality Management System (QMS) and Contamination Prevention (CP) program by taking accountability in promoting awareness, compliance, and effective implementation of QMS and CP program within your section.
  • Initiating and supporting execution of plant wide energy savings programs and minimizing environmental impacts on land, air, and water.
  • Manage buildings and utilities related contracts, contractors and manpower, plan related duties and propose training requirements where applicable to improve the performance of the team.
  • Ensure all maintenance programs for the buildings and utilities are followed and implemented as per plan to maximize efficiency, reduce costs while protecting company's assets.
  • Responsible for the operation of factory workshop for repair and manufacturing service with optimum quality, shortest time, and optimum cost.
  • Ensure appropriate control measures are known and implemented to maintain a healthy and safe workplace for employees within the department.
  • Identify and implement global initiatives and best practices to ensure performance improvement and consistency.

Who We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • 2-3 years’ experience in field maintenance, workshop, spare parts, other utilities, and machinery resources.
  • English and Good Computer skills.
