Job Description
Our company specializes in the sales and distribution of agrochemical products across Tanzania. Due to business expansion, we are recruiting a full-time Local Sales Manager. Candidates with proven practical sales experience in the Tanzanian agrochemical industry are highly preferred.
Job Responsibilities
1. Manage overall market development across Tanzania, including channel expansion, distributor relationship maintenance, key large-scale farm client liaison, and product promotion.
2. Formulate regional sales plans based on annual sales targets, and implement market operations including product stocking, regular client visits, field demonstration trials, and promotional events.
3. Oversee full order follow-up, price management, market order maintenance, competitor research, and account receivable collection.
4. Lead and manage the local sales team, conduct daily training, organize field market visits, support business negotiations, and continuously improve regional sales volume and brand influence.
Job Requirements (Core Mandatory Criteria)
1. Must have solid working experience in agrochemical sales within the Tanzanian market, with sound knowledge of local crop diseases and pests, industry sales channels, distributor systems, and farm resources.
2. Fluent in English and Swahili, with strong communication and negotiation skills; capable of independent client development and account maintenance.
3. Familiar with Tanzanian agrochemical market conditions, competitor pricing, and local sales models; able to quickly formulate and implement effective sales strategies.
4. Hardworking, goal-oriented, and able to work under pressure; willing to travel locally and conduct rural market visits across Tanzania.
5. Candidates with existing large farm resources, local distributor networks, and team management experience will be given priority.
