  • Manage escalations relating to trading, payments, customer service, and platform issues, coordinating with regional and global teams to resolve quickly
  • Monitor uptime, transaction flow, and payment processing performance across mobile money, bank, and cash channels

Regulatory & Compliance

  • Ensure full operational compliance with the Gaming Board of Tanzania (GBT) licence conditions, tax obligations, and reporting requirements
  • Maintain accurate operational records and support timely submission of regulatory returns
  • Work closely with Legal & Compliance to implement responsible gambling controls and KYC/AML procedures at operational level
  • Support licence renewals, audits, and inspections by the regulator and other authorities

Retail & Agent Network

  • Manage relationships with landlords, agents, and third-party operational partners
  • Drive operational cost efficiency across the business, including staffing, security, and petty cash

Payments & Finance Coordination

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with payment service providers and mobile money partners to ensure reliable deposit and withdrawal flows
  • Support fund repatriation, cash reconciliation, and float management processes
  • Partner with Finance on tax reporting, withholding tax processes, and cost control initiatives

Customer Experience & Product Support

  • Ensure customer service standards are met across call centre, and digital touchpoints
  • Feed local market insights into product, marketing, and trading teams to improve the sports and casino offering
  • Support execution of sponsorship and marketing activations at an operational level, including Simba SC-related activity

People & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead, coach, and develop the local operations team, including call centre staff
  • Act as a key point of coordination between the Tanzania country team and East Hub leadership
  • Build strong working relationships with regulators, payment partners, landlords, and community stakeholders
