Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Arusha for a Sales Marketing Manager. The Sales Marketing Manager will oversee marketing and sales operations, develop strategies to enhance brand presence, identify business opportunities, and manage client relations. Responsibilities include designing and implementing marketing campaigns, analyzing market trends, managing budgets, and working collaboratively with the management team to achieve revenue growth goals. The role also involves promoting the unique experiences offered at Planet Lodges and fostering partnerships within the hospitality and travel industry.

Qualifications

  • Experience of 5+ years in marketing strategy, brand management, and creating successful sales campaigns
  • Skills in market research and data analysis, with the ability to identify trends and opportunities
  • Strong communication, client relationship management, and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of the hospitality and tourism industry, with experience in promoting cultural or boutique experiences
  • Proficiency in digital marketing platforms, social media management, and content creation
  • Project management skills with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
  • Experience in Hospitality or African Safaris Sales & Marketing an advantage
