Wakandi Tanzania is seeking an exceptional Senior Key Account Manager (SKAM) to lead and expand our customer portfolio in Tanzania. This position plays a key role in delivering innovative digital solutions that empower SACCOs, MFIs, and financial institutions nationwide. As a Senior Key Account Manager, you will drive revenue growth by identifying business opportunities, nurturing strategic customer relationships, and expanding market presence. You will work directly with customers and partners, ensuring a world-class customer experience while promoting Wakandi Tanzania Ltd.’s innovative digital solutions.
You will also play a crucial role in representing the company externally, showcasing product expertise, and contributing to our digitalisation and automation initiatives.Key responsibilities
- Own and deliver on defined sales activities and targets
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of business opportunities
- Proactively engage customers to ensure exceptional service levels
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support customer success
- Stay informed on relevant market intelligence
- Negotiate business opportunities in the company’s best interests
- Fully utilise and maintain internal systems such as CRM
- Represent the company with integrity, professionalism, and commitment to a strong organisational culture.
Who You Are
- Minimum 3+ years of higher education (BSc preferred)
- A high school diploma in relevant business subjects is an advantage
- Training in Sales or Business Development is an added advantage
- Skilled in CRM systems and reporting tools (HubSpot experience is a plus)
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
- Fluent in English and Kiswahili, with excellent presentation skills
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable in fast-paced environments
- Passionate about customer success and financial inclusion
Qualifications
- 3–5 years’ experience in Key Account Management, Business Development, or Enterprise Sales
- Proven track record selling technology-based solutions (software, digital platforms, fintech)
- Experience working with SACCOs and/or MFIs in Tanzania is a strong advantage
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- IT-literate and eager to grow technical knowledge
