ROLE OVERVIEW

The company is seeking a creative, dynamic, and results-driven Social Media Manager to join the team at Said Salim Bakhresa & Co. Ltd (SSB). The role is responsible for driving the digital presence, building strong online communities, and running impactful social media campaigns. The position is based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and the application deadline is 20th January 2026.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Social Media Manager will develop and execute social media strategies across all platforms and create engaging static, motion, and 3D visual content. The incumbent must manage content calendars for timely and consistent posting while collaborating with internal teams to support campaigns. Additionally, the role involves tracking performance and optimizing content for better results.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field along with proven experience in social media management, digital content creation, or a similar role. Strong proficiency in design and animation tools is required. The ideal candidate brings strong creative and conceptual thinking skills as well as an excellent eye for design, layout, color, and typography. Furthermore, strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
