Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Warehouse Manager located in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing stock control, inventory management, and operations management. Daily tasks include managing the warehouse staff, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, and operating forklifts if necessary. The Warehouse Manager will also implement safety protocols and collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of Experience in Stock Control and Inventory Management
- Skills in Operations Management and team leadership
- Proficiency in Forklift Operation
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work on-site in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
- Prior experience in warehouse or logistics management is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
