Job Description

The Marketing Lead will oversee the marketing department’s operations, leading the team in developing and implementing strategies to drive market share growth and revenue. The role focuses on creating impactful campaigns and events to attract and retain customers, while building and maintaining a strong brand image aligned with company goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company objectives, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of campaigns across TV, radio, print, digital, and social media, including data-driven initiatives like email, affiliate, and influencer marketing (where permissible).
  • Oversee the development of compelling content (written, visual, video) and promotional materials to engage new and existing customers.
  • Enhance brand visibility through partnerships with sports teams, events, and organizations, and maintain a consistent brand image across all channels.
  • Conduct market research and customer surveys to gain insights into preferences, trends, and competitor strategies, using findings to improve products and services.
  • Utilize analytics tools to measure campaign performance, optimize strategies, and streamline departmental processes for efficiency.
  • Manage marketing budgets, address deviations, and build strategic relationships with creative and marketing agencies to maximize value.
  • Lead and mentor the marketing team, setting clear goals, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering a positive, collaborative culture through recognition programs and team-building initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as Digital Marketing and Creative, in head office to ensure cohesive messaging and track expenses for cost-effectiveness and positive ROI.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
  • 6+ years of marketing experience, including 2 years in a team management role.
  • Professional qualification and membership in a relevant professional body.
