We are looking for a results-driven Marketing Specialist with strong expertise in social media management to plan, execute, and optimize our digital presence across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of growing online communities, increasing engagement, and driving measurable business outcomes through strategic content and campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business and brand objectives
  • Manage day-to-day social media activities across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
  • Plan, create, and publish high-quality content (text, visuals, short-form video) tailored to local and regional audiences
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions, ROI)
  • Manage paid social media campaigns, including budgeting, targeting, A/B testing, and optimization
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent brand messaging
  • Stay up to date with social media trends, platform updates, and digital marketing best practices
  • Engage with online communities, respond to comments and messages, and manage brand reputation
  • Support broader marketing initiatives such as campaigns, events, and product launches

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in marketing with a strong focus on social media management
  • Proven experience managing brand accounts and campaigns in the Tanzanian market
  • Strong understanding of content strategy, audience targeting, and social media analytics
  • Hands-on experience with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Swahili and English
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and storytelling skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
