Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Moshi for a Garage Supervisor. The Garage Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of the vehicle maintenance team, ensure the proper servicing and repair of all vehicles, and manage parts inventory. Responsibilities include coordinating schedules for mechanics, conducting regular inspections of vehicles, liaising with suppliers for necessary equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The role also involves maintaining records of repairs and fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, repair procedures, and technical diagnostics
• Experience in team management, including supervising mechanical staff and coordinating schedules
• Proficiency in inventory management and supplier coordination
• Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards in vehicle servicing and maintenance
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to work efficiently on-site in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience in a similar supervisory role in the automotive or tourism sector is advantageous
• Technical qualifications or certifications in vehicle maintenance and repair are a plus
