Job Description

AtoZ Group is one of Africa’s most diversified manufacturing companies, with operations spanning textiles, garments, agriculture, packaging, plastics, recycling, logistics, and more. We are now expanding our digital footprint and are looking for a dynamic Social Media Manager to lead and grow our online presence across Instagram and LinkedIn.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute a content strategy aligned with brand goals and marketing objectives.
  • Plan content calendars for Instagram and LinkedIn.
  • Content Creation & Management
  • Create engaging and visually appealing posts, stories, reels, and videos.
  • Write compelling captions and copy tailored to each platform.
  • Coordinate product photography, behind-the-scenes shoots, and event coverage.

Digital Marketing

  • Manage organic and paid campaigns to drive engagement, reach, and followers.
  • Track analytics and provide performance reports with actionable insights.
  • Run social media ads and promote posts as needed.

Community Management

  • Engage with followers, respond to DMs/comments, and manage online reputation.
  • Monitor social trends and suggest creative campaign ideas.

Collaboration

  • Work with internal departments (sales, production, HR, etc.) to source stories and updates.
  • Liaise with graphic designers, photographers, and videographers when needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in social media management, preferably in a B2B or manufacturing context.
  • Strong command of English and Swahili (written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in design and editing tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, etc.).
  • Understanding of digital marketing fundamentals, trends, and analytics.
  • Creative mindset with excellent storytelling and brand voice skills.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred

  • Experience managing social media for brands in Africa.
  • Photography/videography skills are a plus.
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn growth strategies for corporate storytelling.
