Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Emergency Medicine Physician located in Zanzibar City. The Emergency Medicine Physician will be responsible for providing urgent care and critical care to patients, diagnosing and treating acute medical conditions, and managing emergency situations. The role involves working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring rapid and effective treatment of patients with various medical emergencies.

• Urgent Care and Emergency Services skills
• Critical Care Medicine skills
• Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
• Board certification in Emergency Medicine
• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Valid medical license to practice in the region
• Experience in emergency or urgent care settings is preferred
