Nurse (Hematology Clinic Experience Preferred)

About the Role:
We are seeking a competent and compassionate Nurse with a diploma qualification to join our hematology clinic team in Dar es Salaam. You will play a critical role in supporting patient care, assisting with diagnostic and treatment procedures, and ensuring safe and efficient clinical operations.

Your role will contribute directly to quality patient outcomes by strengthening day-to-day clinical care, supporting laboratory coordination, and maintaining high standards of patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing hematology consultations, treatments, and follow-up
• Assist clinicians with procedures such as blood collection, transfusion preparation, and patient monitoring
• Ensure proper handling, labeling, and documentation of laboratory specimens
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes promptly to the clinical team
• Maintain accurate patient records and support continuity of care
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, medication use, and follow-up requirements
• Uphold infection prevention and control standards within the clinic

Ideal Candidate:

• Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution
• Valid and up to date nursing license and registration with the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council
• Experience in hematology, laboratory, oncology, or medical clinic settings is an added advantage
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with clinicians and laboratory teams
• Based in Dar es Salaam or willing to relocate
• Committed to patient-centered care and professional conduct
