Pharmacy Technician at Oceanic Polyclinic

Job Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately according to prescriptions.
• Educate patients on the correct usage and potential side effects of medications.
• Maintain proper records of dispensed medications and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and safety protocols.
• Monitor medication stock levels and request replenishments as needed.
• Work closely with doctors and nurses to ensure proper patient medication management.

Requirements & Skills:

• Proficiency in computer skills for pharmacy management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and drug safety guidelines.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• Must be a citizen of Tanzania.
• Holder of a Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
• Must have a valid practicing license from the relevant regulatory body.
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
