Job Description

Provide hands-on PMO support across the AzamPesa/AzamPay portfolio—owning governance artifacts, schedules, RAID/control logs, reporting, and coordination—so delivery teams meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • Certifications preferred: PRINCE2 Practitioner or PMP, Agile/SAFe or ITIL.

DEADLINE: 14 SEP 2025

Responsibilities:

  • Governance & Controls: Maintain PMO registers (RAID, decisions, changes), enforce templates, stage-gates, and documentation standards; support internal/external audits.
  • Planning & Scheduling: Build/maintain integrated plans, track milestones/critical path, manage dependencies (platform, vendor, regulatory), and drive recovery actions for slippage.
  • Reporting & Insights: Produce weekly RAG reports, dashboards, and SteerCo packs; ensure data accuracy in PMO tools and drive actions from insights.
  • Risk/Issue Management: Facilitate identification, impact assessment, mitigation/contingency planning (including service continuity), and timely escalations.
  • Financial Tracking: Support budget/forecast updates, PO/invoice status, burn-rate and variance analysis; assist benefits tracking.
  • Resource & Vendor Coordination: Track allocations/capacity; manage SOW registers, onboarding, deliverable acceptance, and vendor follow-ups across gateway/MFS partners.
  • Delivery Support: Coordinate UAT cycles, defect triage, release readiness, cutover/runbooks (including rollback), and post-implementation reviews.
  • Meetings & Communications: Plan ceremonies and governance forums; prepare agendas, minutes, and action logs; follow through to closure with stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Recommend process/tooling enhancements to improve predictability, transparency, and throughput.

Skill & Tools

  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project; working knowledge of Jira & MS Project.
  • Clear written and verbal communication; stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and structured; comfortable with numbers, governance, and deadlines.
