Shipping / Declaration officer at HSD Human Resource Solutions Tanzania

HSD is seeking a full-time Shipping/Declaration Officer to join our team on-site at our Mkuranga office. Responsibilities include managing import and export documentation, coordinating freight shipments, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations. The officer will also communicate with clients and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth logistics operations and address queries or issues related to shipping and declarations. Regular reporting and collaboration with the team to optimize procedures will be essential.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in Import, Export, and Import Export processes
• Proficiency in managing Freight operations and logistics
• Excellent Communication skills for effective coordination with clients, stakeholders, and team members
• Ability to work collaboratively in a structured, on-site environment
• Attention to detail and proficiency in maintaining accurate records
• Relevant qualifications or certifications related to shipping, logistics, or supply chain management are an added advantage
• Experience in dealing with customs regulations and compliance is preferred
