Multi-skilled Operator-High level Palletiser (44 Positions) K4 at Kilombero Sugar

Consistently deliver to customers (internal and external) by packing bales onto pallets and carry out palletizing tasks according to standards.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities.

• Work safely with bagging conveyors in accordance with safety procedures for the task.
• Ensure that sugar bags and bales comply with quality standards.
• Take action on non-compliance with the standard (according to procedures).
• Ensure sugar bags and bales are placed onto pallets as per SOPs.
• Follow work instructions diligently and accurately.
• Work quickly and methodically to ensure that cost, target and safety requirements are met.
• Communicate positively with the Supervisor and team members.
• Work neatly according to 5S standards and maintain housekeeping.
• Change and improve work practices where necessary.

Job Requirements.

• Diploma in electrical control or programming or similar technical qualification.
• Three years’ experience in packing in a quality focused and performance driven factory environment, ideally.
• Experience in Siemens PLC is an advantage.
• Able to read and understand SOPs.

Terms of Service: The successful candidate will be engaged on a Permanent Contract.
