Utilities Operator

What This Position Is About - Purpose

To maintain and operate the Plant utilities such as Compressors, Generators Boilers, and HVAC system as per preventive maintenance plan/Manufacturers operations manuals.

What Will You Do - Responsibilities

• To ensure proper operation of machine according to recommended instructions and procedures.
• Inspect working environments for all EHS related conformance and 5S3.
• Monitoring, recording and reporting all required parameters periodically.
• Participate in new installations and maintenance of utilities equipments.
• Conduct trouble shooting during corrective maintenance.
• Supervise and guide contractors whenever carrying work within utilities areas.
• Propose alternative solutions to be taken for the improvement of utilities equipment.
• Responsible for performing any other duties reasonably assigned by the Management.

Who Are We Looking For - Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering or Equivalent qualification from recognized institute.
• Understanding of English and Swahili languages.
• Two years’ experience in the field of Pipe fitting, boiler, compressors, generators, pumps and other utility resources.
• Good computer skills.
