Boomplay is Africa’s Largest Streaming and download service. The Home of Music, the mission for our Users is to bring everything MUSIC around the World to Africans and build the most reliable and transparent music ecosystem in Africa for the artists. Boomplay has over the years forged partnerships by providing an expansive catalog of over 75 million tracks through partnering with 4000+ labels/tracks both locally and internationally and still growing. We are looking for a Digital Ads Sales Manager who will be responsible for the digital ads sales and must be driven to meet and strive to exceed the sales quotas.

Job Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for digital ads sales, meet and strive to exceed sales quotas.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with advertisers, ad agencies, and major partners to drive sales growth, and explore innovative channel business models to build long-term channel advantages.
  • Follow and identify key digital advertising industry trends and make corresponding adjustments to digital advertising development strategies.
  • Look for sponsors and advertisers for Boomplay music offline events
  • Following up on new business opportunities in the music industry
  • Identifying sales leads, pitching our services to old and new clients
  • Planning, preparing, and making presentations to Clients
  • Maintain a good working relationship with old and new clients
  • Communicating our product developments to prospective clients
  • Setting the organization's goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth.
  • Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives
  • Attend conferences, seminars, and industry events where appropriate
  • Setting goals for the business development team and developing strategies to meet those goals.
  • Understanding the needs of our clients and being able to respond effectively with a plan on how to meet those needs
  • Carry out sales forecasts and analyses monthly, quarterly, and annually
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements
  • Encouraging new and existing clients by creating and improving proposal
  • Developing and sustaining solid relationships with company stakeholders and customers.
  • Analyzing customer feedback data to determine whether customers are satisfied with company products and services.
  • Providing insight into product development and competitive positioning
  • Analyzing financial data and developing effective strategies to reduce business costs and increase company profits.
  • Improving business functionality to align with core business objectives

Job Requirements:

  • A degree in Sales and Marketing or Business Administration is a must
  • 3+ years of experience in media, ad agency, and digital ad sales experience is a must.
  • Previous work experience in digital ad sales with enough potential client base is a must
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build consensus
