Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Assessor to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will assist in assessing insurance claims, conducting site inspections, investigating losses, and preparing technical reports under supervision.

This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates seeking to build a career in insurance loss adjusting and risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in conducting site inspections for motor, property, fire, marine, and engineering claims

Collect and document evidence related to insurance losses

Prepare preliminary assessment and investigation reports

Liaise with insurers, claimants, brokers, and service providers

Support senior loss adjusters during complex investigations

Ensure compliance with TIRA regulations and professional standards

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in:

Insurance & Risk Management

Mechanical Engineering

Civil Engineering

Electrical Engineering

Quantity Surveying

Automotive Engineering

Or related technical field

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

Strong analytical and report-writing skills

Good communication skills

High level of integrity and professionalism

Willingness to travel within Tanzania

Added Advantage

Internship experience in insurance or claims assessment

Knowledge of motor vehicle inspection

Valid driving license
