Our client, a reputable recruitment company headquartered in Doha, Qatar, is actively searching for a committed and experienced professional to join their outstanding team.

THE JOB

As a Rope Access technician, your primary responsibility will be to safely install, inspect, and maintain ropes, rigging, and associated equipment utilized for rappelling, climbing, and performing tasks at elevated heights.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

• Providing safety management, work site organization, and supervisory leadership and accountabilities to work crews on various projects.
• Utilizing specialized knowledge of "Rope Access Technology" to execute projects from inception through to completion. These projects include:
• High angle rope access industrial maintenance, repairs, mechanical rigging and installations
• On site fall protection, high angle rescue and rescue training 
• Supervising and ensuring the safety and performance of the Level 1 and Level 2 technicians under his/her direction.
• Preparing and submitting reports on a timely basis.
• Ensuring operational safety of all equipment.
• Liaising with Operations Managers regarding project work.
• Liaising with clients and site operations crew to ensure scope of job is understood and well executed.
• Travelling to various work locations throughout the region as required
• Monitors validity of Rope Access certifications and request for training to upgrade skills and proficiency, if necessary.

REQUIREMENTS

The job holder should have the following requirements.

• IRATA License.
• Previous experience working in rope access.
• Ability to work at heights and in challenging weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

We are offering the following for the successful candidate:

1. A competitive gross salary of 1200 QAR Per Month.
2. Allowance of QAR 300
