Internally: – Leading the Procurement, Stores and Fleet /Logistic Team
Externally: Suppliers, service providers , government authorities
Key Responsibilities
Is the custodian of country Supply Chain Unit which comprises of Procurement, Stores and Fleet /Logistic team and will be responsible to maintaining efficient and accurate business unit functions.
Is the in-country “go to” reference person for queries concerning supply chain- procurement, stores and fleet/logistics treatments and reporting disclosures.
Specific areas of focus are: (Job Requirements): -
- Supply Chain Management
- Developing supply strategies that are inventive and cost-effective.
- Data Analysis & Forecasting: Analyse supply chain data to identify trends, forecast demand, and improve performance metrics.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: - Collaborate with all HODs to align supply with demand.
- Supplier & Vendor Relations: - Negotiate supplier contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers.
KPI’s
- Inventory turnover rate.
- Order fulfillment accuracy.
- Supply chain cost reduction.
- Supplier on-time delivery rate
- Fleet Management: -
- Oversees the entire lifecycle of a company’s fleet assets to ensure maximum efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance while minimizing operational costs.
- Manages the acquisition, registration, and disposal of vehicles.
- Vehicle maintenance scheduling, fleet manpower management, fuel tracking, regulatory compliance, and asset procurement/disposal
- To ensure the fleet unit uses fleet management software to monitor company vehicle location, status, and performance in real-time.
- Reduce unnecessary expenses and increase fuel efficiency
- Analyse fleet performance data and improve accordingly
- Report fleet performance and finances to upper management
KPI’s
- Total Cost of Ownership (TCO): Tracks all costs (acquisition, fuel, maintenance, insurance, depreciation) over an asset's life.
- Fuel Efficiency: Tracks miles to optimize fuel spend and minimize environmental impact.
- Idling Time: Tracks unnecessary idling to reduce fuel wastage.
- Compliance & Inspections
- Maintenance and downtime

Technical Skills
Qualifications and experience
We are looking for someone with a combination of experience in Supply Chain, logistics or transportation, along with strong skills in budgeting, data analysis, and vehicle maintenance.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management and Logistics /Transportation
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in
- Accommodation IFM experience is preferred.
- Skilled in the use of office software such as excel, ppt, world, etc
- With good affinity and communication skills, can communicate positively with employees.
Essential Skills & Competencies
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of vehicle maintenance, procurement, and fuel management.
- Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of safety regulations, transport laws, and licensing.
- Technology Proficiency: Experience with telematics, GPS tracking, and fleet management software. Proficiency in supply chain software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools to streamline operations.
- Financial Acumen: Budgeting, cost control, and analysis.
- Leadership: People management and communication skills, effectively conveying complex logistical issues to senior management.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyse large datasets, distinguish main issues from side issues, and make data-driven decisions.
- Negotiation and Vendor Management: Securing favourable deals with suppliers and managing relationships, which is vital for cost control.
- Strategic Planning and Forecasting: Managing inventory, forecasting demand, and planning logistical requirements.
- Adaptability: Managing changing circumstances and disruptions with flexibility
