Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a PhD Opportunity in Malaria Modelling at Kampala International University in Tanzania (KIUT), located in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be involved in day-to-day tasks related to malaria modelling research and analysis, collaborating with a team of researchers, and contributing to academic publications and presentations.

Qualifications

• Strong background in Mathematics, Statistics, Epidemiology, or related field
• Experience with data analysis and statistical modeling
• Knowledge of Malaria epidemiology and modeling techniques
• Proficiency in programming languages such as R or Python
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research setting
• Experience with research grant applications and project management
• PhD in a relevant field is preferred
