Volunteer Safety Attendant at TMHS Group

Required Qualifications

• Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or any related field
• Basic knowledge of safety equipment and their usage (PPE, fire extinguishers, first aid kits, safety signs, etc.)
• Experience in selling safety equipment with proven sales ability
• Good communication skills in both Swahili and English
• Must be a Tanzanian
• Basic computer skills will be an added advantage
• High level of discipline, honesty, and responsibility
• Ability to work with minimum supervision

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers in identifying and selecting appropriate safety equipment
• Provide basic guidance on proper use of safety products
• Actively promote and sell safety equipment to customers
• Ensure safety equipment in the shop is well arranged, labeled, and stored properly
• Maintain cleanliness and order within the shop
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or damaged items
• Support record keeping for sales and inventory when required
• Promote safety awareness to customers
• Report any incidents or operational challenges to the supervisor
