Job Description
Location: Tanzania (Dar es Salaam & other regions)
Job Type: Freelance / Independent Contractor
Contract: Agency Agreement (not an Employment Contract)
About Us
We are a reputable real estate firm operating in Tanzania's growing property market. With the recent digital transformation in the sector and increasing demand for verified property transactions, we are expanding our network of independent agents to serve clients across Mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar.
About the Role
We are looking for experienced Real Estate Freelancers to join our network as Independent Sales Agents. This is a commission-based partnership, not a traditional job.
Important:
- This is an independent contractor relationship.
- You will sign an Agency Agreement, not an employment contract.
- You are your own boss — we provide the platform and support.
What You Will Do
- Generate leads and acquire buyers, sellers, and tenants.
- Conduct property viewings and showcase properties to potential clients.
- Negotiate deals between buyers and sellers.
- Stay updated on local real estate market trends and property values.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Prepare necessary paperwork and coordinate with our legal and finance teams.
- Achieve individual sales targets and maximize profitability.
What We Are Looking For
Experience:
- Proven track record in real estate sales or a related field.
Local Knowledge:
- Familiarity with Tanzania's property market and neighborhoods.
Languages:
- Fluent in Swahili and/or English.
Self-Motivation:
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Communication:
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Certification:
- Tanzanian National ID and TIN (Taxpayer Identification Number) required for formal registration.
Network:
- Existing client contacts and local connections are a strong advantage.
What We Offer
Commission Structure
- High Commission Split: Earn 50% – 100% of the total commission on every deal (varies by property type and performance).
- Market Rates: Real estate agent commissions in Tanzania typically range from 4% to 10% of the property value — you keep the majority.
- Fast Payout: Commissions processed quickly after each successful closing.
- No Cap: Uncapped earning potential — the more you sell, the more you earn.
Why Work With Us?
Flexible Schedule
- Work on your own time — no office hours, no clocking in.
Independent Status
- You are a freelancer, not an employee — full control over your work.
Brand Support
- Backed by a trusted real estate brand — we help with credibility and client trust.
Back Office Support
- Dedicated legal, finance, and administrative teams to handle paperwork so you can focus on sales.
Training & Mentorship
- Ongoing guidance on sales strategies and market updates.
Modern Tools
- Access to digital listing platforms and verified property data (similar to emerging platforms like Be Forward Homes).
Who This Is For
This opportunity is ideal for:
- Experienced dalalis (local agents) looking to formalize their work.
- Former real estate sales staff wanting greater independence.
- Anyone with property market connections who wants to earn high commissions without being tied to an office.
How to Apply
If you are ready to take control of your income and work as an independent real estate agent in Tanzania, we want to hear from you.
Please send:
- Your CV or a brief summary of your real estate experience.
- A short description of your client network and property knowledge.
- Your contact information (+255 755 679 666 and +255 791 150 923).

Join our network and start earning high commissions on your own terms!
Note: This is a freelance/independent contractor position governed by an Agency Agreement. It does not constitute an employment relationship under the Employment and Labour Relations Act, 2004.
