About the Role

This is a client-facing sales position focused on generating leads, closing property transactions, and building long-term client relationships. You will be responsible for identifying buyers and sellers, conducting property viewings, negotiating deals, and ensuring smooth transaction processes from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect potential buyers, sellers, and tenants through various channels.
  • Conduct property viewings and showcase listings to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate and close property sales and lease agreements.
  • Build and maintain a robust network of clients, investors, and industry contacts.
  • Stay informed about market trends, property values, and competitor activities in the Tanzanian real estate sector.
  • Provide professional advice to clients on property investments, pricing, and market conditions.
  • Prepare and present property proposals, offers, and related documentation.
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance property visibility.
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking functions.

What We Are Looking For

Essential Requirements

  • Sales Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience in real estate sales (preferred) OR proven experience in a target-driven sales role.
  • Local Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Tanzanian property market, neighborhoods, and property valuation trends.
  • Social & Professional Networks: Established connections within the community, including local business owners, diaspora networks, investors, or government contacts.
  • Communication Skills: Fluent in English and Swahili (spoken and written).
  • Digital Proficiency: Comfortable using social media (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp Business) for marketing and lead generation.
  • Self-Motivation: Driven, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Professionalism: Presentable, trustworthy, and able to represent a premium real estate brand.

Preferred Qualifications (Strong Advantages)

  • Existing Client Base: You bring a ready network of buyers, sellers, or investors.
  • Offline Channels: Experience with traditional lead generation, including community networks, referral marketing, local events, and partnerships.
  • Digital Marketing Skills: Familiarity with content creation, social media ads, virtual tours, or online listing platforms.
  • Property Valuation Knowledge: Ability to assess property values and advise clients confidently.
  • Real Estate Certification: Training or certification in real estate is a plus.
  • Experience with Diaspora Clients: Understanding how to engage Tanzanians living abroad who are interested in investing back home.
