Security Guard at Kilombero Sugar Tanzania

The Watchman is responsible for safeguarding company property from damage or theft within the assigned area of service. 

Duties and Accountabilities:

• Guards company properties from damage or theft within assigned territory.
• Ensures a proper handover of the assigned guard post before and after duty
• Ensures all safety and security procedures are adhered to by all employees and visitors entering the guard post
• Ensures the guard post does not remain unattended
• Reports any damage or theft of company property that has happened within the guard post to the supervisor immediately
• Performs any other duty as assigned by the supervisor
• Promote and adhere to Illovo’s procedures, policies and guidelines, including, without limitation, those relating to SHERQ, Competition Law and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC).

Minimum Requirements:

• Primary Education as a minimum requirement
• Must have gone through JATZ/TPDF/JKT training
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar function
• Good knowledge of security practices
• Self-disciplined

Terms of Service: The successful candidates will be engaged on a permanent contract.
