Provision of Security Guard Services

The Pestalozzi Children’s Foundation (PCF) is a Swiss non-profit organisation, which promotes peaceful cohabitation worldwide by empowering the most marginalised children and adolescents. PCF seeks to provide children and youth with access to holistic quality education and to strengthen their intercultural competencies.

PCF was registered in Tanzania in October 2007 under The Non-Governmental Organizations Act of 2002 with a registration number I-NGO/00010139. PCF works with local non-governmental organization who are operating in different geographical areas. Currently it is working with Tanzania Education Network / Mtandano wa Elimu Tanzania (TEN/MET); Tanzania Child Rights Forum (TCRF); Southern Highlands Participatory Organization – SHIPO in Mbozi and with CASEE in Karatu. We are currently seeking qualified and experienced security guard service providers to express their interest in offering security guard services at our office located at second floor, Faiya Towers, Ali Hassan Mwinyi Road, Dar es salaam.

1. Objective

The objective of this EOI is to identify and shortlist reputable security firms with the capacity to provide reliable, professional, and cost-effective security services that ensure the safety of our staff, assets, and premises.

2. Scope of Services

The selected firm will be expected to provide:

24/7 manned guarding services; Access control and visitor management; Emergency response and incident reporting; Regular patrols and surveillance; Security risk assessments and recommendations.

3. Eligibility Criteria

We are looking for a Small or Medium Size security guard Company who meets the following requirements; Valid business registration and operating license in Tanzania; At least 3 years of experience in providing security services to NGOs, or corporate clients; Proof of compliance with labour laws and social security; Evidence of trained and licensed security personnel; Adequate insurance coverage; References from at least three recent clients.

4. Submission Requirements

Interested firms should submit:

A cover letter expressing interest; Technical and Financial proposal; Company profile and relevant experience; Copies of registration and licenses; List of current and past clients; Any other relevant documentation.
